Recently Purchased Favourites

So I went on a little bit of a shopping spree not long ago in Boots and Primark (of course two of my favourite shops). I was originally going to do a haul post, but instead I decided to film it instead, which you can check out here (cheeky self promo).

So I have been using these products for a couple of weeks now, and I can honestly say these are my favourite products I have bought recently. Lets start with the NYX eyeshadow palette. It's absolutely stunning. The colours are perfect for me and I know I will be using all the colours, to be honest I've used majority of them already. They are quite pigmented as well, not the best pigment I have ever used but amazing for the price! The only thing I would say is that there is quite a lot of fall out, so I normally just dip my brush in instead of swirling it around so I don't waste much product. Apart from that, it's stunning and perfect for a neutral look.

Right, I have been searching for so long for an eye cream, but it's actually so hard to find ones that actually work and aren't too pricey. I know Benefit isn't the cheapest brand, but it's so worth it. I got the mini sample for £5, have been using it everyday, and have barely used any of it. A little goes a long way with this product. It really does brighten my under eyes, moisturises and it gives the illusion that my dark bags have disappeared. PERFECT. Just what you need!

When it comes to foundation, I rarely venture out trying new foundations because when I find one that I like, I stick to it. If you don't like the foundation, what are you gonna do with it apart from give it to someone who might like it? I can't do that because no one is the same shade as me (I'm ridiculously pale). I have seen a lot of hype about this foundation, so I stepped out of my comfort zone and do not regret it one bit. I would say it's about medium coverage but it's definitely build-able. It sinks right into your skin so it doesn't look like you've just painted your face. It's not sticky and it leaves a nearly matte finish, so you don't need a lot of powder on top either. I would say though I'm not sure what it would be like on really dry skin, I always make sure I moisturise before which works wonders!

The last two products I'm going to mention the NYX liquid lipstick and Freedom brow pot. I have ever only use one other liquid lipstick from Sleek and I hated it. It was so drying it just crumbled off my lips. My lips are so dry during this time of year no matter how much moisturising stuff I put on. This liquid lipstick is not drying at all. It's so pigmented, so easy to put on and it looks incredibly smooth. I managed to get it to last nearly the whole day which is fab (I do drink A LOT of coffee). This little thing is really worth the money.

The brow pot is something that I bought a really long time ago, didn't like so I gave it away. Then I saw someone else use it on YouTube and it looked amazing so I decided to repurchase it. Turns out I was using way too much product before which is why it didn't work well at all. With this, you need the tiniest amount of product which is amazing as it will last for ages. It's really pigmented, and not too sticky or fake looking if you really take your time with it. Some people say it's a dupe for the Anastasia Dip Brow but I wouldn't have a clue.
