There's Just Something Special About London

One thing I need to mention first... I forgot my camera battery. We sat down on the boat, got my camera out my bag, put my lens in, tried to turn it on and oh. I realised I left it on charge back at home. I was so annoyed with myself because I've been waiting so long for this day so I could take some photos of London (it was also my first time I've been to London with my camera). So yea, I was pretty gutted. ALSO actually, before I forget, looking back at the photos I am actually missing some too, no idea how!! Despite this, it was still a lovely day so I can't complain.

The first thing we decided to do is get on the boat starting from Greenwich (I think), where we saw this boat thing. I'm assuming it's a museum type thing as we saw people walking around on it and looking around (I'm clueless I know). The inside of our boat was actually really lovely, I expected it to be just be rows of seats but they had spinning chairs, tables and subtle Christmas decorations. We stayed on the boat until the end which was Westminster and along the way we saw buildings in Canary Wharf, Big Ben, Tower Bridge etc.

When we got off, we decided to walk to Regent Street and have a look around. I LOVE this place. Christmas decorations were everywhere which made me feel so festive. Of course I also popped into Anthropology and bought myself a mug (I think everyone has this one) with an A on it. For some reason I didn't have any mugs that are pretty and just mine..

Anyways, we then had afternoon tea with a free glass of champagne at The Courthouse Hotel. It was the first time I ever had afternoon tea but it definitely won't be the last!! After that, we just had a walk through Oxford Street, tried to pop into Primark but it was way too busy so decided to leave.

That was it really. It was just a lovely day and London my favourite city that I've been to. I definitely need to go more often!

There are more photos from this day on my Instagram if you want to have a look!
